Madelyn Peters 

My name is Madelyn Peters. I was raised in South Lyon, a small town just outside of Detroit, Michigan. I am very involved at my school as I am active in student council, the mascot at assemblies and home games as well as the captain of the varsity volleyball team. I also have taken advanced courses all four years to further my education. I have played competitive court volleyball at a national level since fifth grade. Volleyball has given me the opportunity to travel all over the country with my teammates and my family, which is a major part of who I am. With my free time, I am a barista and bartender at the Corner Social, a local coffee shop and bar. These activities have furthered my communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
